Scotiabank Charity Challenge

The Scotiabank Charity Challenge will take place on Sunday, April 24th at Parc Jean-Drapeau. The event annually hosts over 6.000 participants.


The Foundation hopes to raise more than $20,000 this year.

Each donation in the Foundation allows to support its mission: to actively contribute to the excellence in research and advancement in the four research centres of the INRS. The Foundation awards the financing for equipments, scolarships, research chairs and innovative research projects.


The 21k and 5k are part of the Canadian Half Marathon Championships and is one of the largest running events in Quebec.

  •     Date of challenge: Sunday, April 24, 2016
  •     Departures: 5 km : 8:30am (running or walking). 21km : 10h (running only)
  •     Location: Parc Jean-Drapeau, Aquatic Complex, Montreal
  •     Itinerary: Île Sainte-Hélène and Île Notre-Dame
  •     Participants: runners of all levels of competition are welcome
